The Locks, then and now

This photo was taken during Thomas' first trip to the Ballard Locks at about 2 weeks of age.  I cannot believe he was ever this tiny.  He seems like such a little boy to me now.  For a point of reference:  he can no longer fit in this car seat legally.

This is a picture of Thomas back at the Locks (trip number one hundred and something) taken a couple days ago.  Now he is so aware of (and into) everything around him; it blows my mind to think he started out as that little chicken all bundled protected from everything in his little car seat.  And, it has only been 7 months, think of the adventures to come.
